February 2015 - Shoulder Cozy 2.0

Our part time emplyee, Charlene Scott has been knitting up these shoulder cozies for herself and for others as quick gifts. We first added this pattern to our Stitch Archives in November 2012. Here Charlene shows you some yarn variations and a nice neckline variation. The possibilities are endless!

Her first! Knit with one strand Handmaiden Silk and one strand Sandnes Silk Mohair.

The following four have a modified neckline: Knit 5 rounds before starting the knit/purl alternating rounds. When worn, you can really see the difference in height at the neckline.

All three of these beautiful cozies were knit with one strand of Berroco Lustra and one strand of Drops Kid-Silk. Lustra has a great sheen that gives the illusion of silk.   This one was knit with a strand of Drops Big Delight and a strand of Drops Kid-Silk. The variegated Big Delight really stands out against the Kid-Silk.
